Eoin is responsible for all customer acquisition and retention activities across Savvy’s direct sales and reseller channels. Savvy owns and operates two secure SaaS based platforms providing Analytics and Processing services helping retail and restaurant brands in Europe and North America to manage and grow their gift card programmes. Eoin is also Chair of the UKGCVA since 2015 working closely with Director General Gail Cohen and the Executive Committee to drive the organisation forward.

In her role as Vice President Account Services, Northern Europe, Sarah is focused on increasing value for customers and partners. She leads the region’s Account Management Team and is responsible for customer relationships, strategic customer engagement and the ongoing provision of high quality support. This includes the delivery of high-value, proactive and collaborative customer engagement with the aim of building sustainable and mutually rewarding commercial relationships.

With around 20 years’ experience at SVS, Sarah has an established history of customer relationship management within the financial services industry. This includes her previous positions as Operations Team Leader and Commercial Services Solutions Consultant for Ceridian SVS. Sarah has a Marketing Week Mini MBA with Mark Ritson.

Anna started her career at a start-up, pioneering global mobile reward and money transfer solutions for retail POS which led to the launch of a white label money transfer solution for Tesco in 2009. Following the launch, Anna moved to Tesco Bank where she held various positions and launched multiple products, including the Tesco Gift Card Mall in 2010. Anna became the Digital Director at Blackhawk Network in 2014, driving their EMEA strategy for digital gifting before moving in to a Business Development Director role. She currently acts as Blackhawk’s Senior Director for Commerce across EMEA, where she oversees the sale of gift cards through B2C channels in 14 countries.

Drawing on over 15 years’ experience in the gift card, reward and incentive industry, Jackie uses her expertise and skills as a prepaid card and payments consultant and has been successfully helping a wide range of clients to achieve their gift card and payment goals for the last 10 years.

Formerly Head of Product Management for Grass Root (UK) Ltd, she was responsible for the very successful development, launch and marketing of their prepaid products. Jackie grew the ‘pure’ prepaid card product and bonusbond gift card on the Visa network to an annual turnover in excess of £18m in the business to business market. She has also worked for Whitbread Group plc and Mobil Oil.

Jackie works with clients to launch or improve their gift card and prepaid products and to look at alternative payment opportunities such as Open Banking or Cryptocurrency. Brian is known in the industry as “Mr Gift Card”.

He has a lifetime achievement award from this organisation and he was the second ever in the history of the UKGCVA to get this recognition.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Management Accountants and he holds a Masters of Business Administration.

He founded IMA (Incentive Marketing Association) Europe and was president for eight years. He was on the global board of the IMA, a 600-strong association that includes the organisations that are the large corporate and agency buyers of gift cards.

He has been awarded with the association’s highest level of Fellowship.

He is a judge on many major awards in the prepaid, Emerging Payments world and he has consulted with many of the world’s major retailers helping them to drive increased demand and profitability from their gift card program.

Brian is the leader of Gift Card Consulting with a team of industry experts.

In 2005, Global Hotel Card by Expedia Inc. launched the first gift card to the Incentive Industry powered by an online travel agency. This was a highly innovative product and the product was quickly offered in 2,000 retail outlets in the US as well as B2B with over 75 incentive and loyalty agencies worldwide. Friend has been responsible for all aspects of thee business model including Technology, Branding, Business Development, Finance and Marketing.

In 2012 Global Hotel Card became the first Individual Incentive Gift Card to sell Internationally in multiple currencies and in multiple languages. The company expanded its distribution to Global Agencies and now has distribution in over 100 countries worldwide.

Friend is a graduate of UC Berkeley. He resides in San Francisco and has two grown sons.

In his role as Vice President of Global Sales & Partnerships, Thomas has been an instrumental part of the Gift Solutions leadership team. Tom started the first ever gift card in North America in 1994. The Blockbuster gift card and reward program helped revolutionize the industry with marketing innovation and enabled branded currency to serve as a model for enterprises across the globe.

Eoin is responsible for all customer acquisition and retention activities across Savvy’s direct sales and reseller channels. Savvy owns and operates two secure SaaS based platforms providing Analytics and Processing services helping retail and restaurant brands in Europe and North America to manage and grow their gift card programmes. Eoin is also Chair of the UKGCVA since 2015 working closely with Director General Gail Cohen and the Executive Committee to drive the organisation forward.

Don has over 30 years of experience of advising clients in the retail sector initially as an audit partner and National Head of Sectors at BDO. His clients are, predominantly, private (family) or private equity owned and focused on managed growth to maximise shareholder value.

Don joined KPMG in late 2014 and continues his focus on the retail sector with a view to building on the existing strength of the firm’s retail franchise and leveraging existing experience and services that are currently employed effectively with other sectors. Although based In London, he is service line and geographically agnostic.

Specifically he seeks to help clients with some of the key opportunities and challenges that the sector faces: supply chain and operational efficiency, identification and effective penetration of international markets, the world of omni-channel, and the effective collection and analysis of data together with the systems and processes that are required to achieve this… and helping businesses to pay for this investment and comply with the increasingly complex regulatory environment.

Outside of work: he is married (Gail) with 2 children (Ella, 23 and Angus, 21) and lives outside of Reading. He is a keen sportsman (golf, tennis and hockey) and represented GB and England at hockey between 1989-95 including the privilege of participating at 1992 Barcelona Olympics.

Her career within retail while being an author for the Huffington Post has enabled Deap to have an extensive insight and provide a forward-thinking approach to sustainability.
